Stacey Anderson is a writer and editor at The Ford Foundation, which works to advance social justice and end inequality worldwide. She is also an occasional music and culture journalist.

Previously, she was a senior editor at Pitchfork, where she managed special projects and wrote features and reviews. She was also the pop listings critic of The New York Times and an online editor at Rolling Stone. Her writing has also appeared in The Washington Post, The Guardian, New York Magazine, NPR, Newsweek, and more.

Stacey is a cofounder of the Pitchfork Union and was its inaugural chair. She lives in New York.
